Account Manager

As a member of the Inside Sales Team, the Telephone Account Rep supports Almy’s objective to continue to build itself into an internationally recognized industry leader known for its innovative and adaptive style. Telephone Account Reps provide optimum sales service to customers utilizing their knowledge, skills and willingness to close the sale. The position responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Telephone customers and prospects making relevant sales presentations, achieving sales, call and quality targets.
  • Maintain an effective call schedule by analyzing customer information and setting up high-potential call activities, and by following up on calls scheduled by department management.
  • Answer inbound calls directed to you and provide callers with service and sales assistance.
  • Manage existing orders to ensure prompt fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of friendliness, courtesy, honesty and integrity in communications with customers and co-workers.

Requirements include:

  • 2 - 4 years experience in an outbound call center environment
  • Excellent communications skills – diction, grammar, voice quality; phone manners; sales presentation; listening and responding.
  • Assertive, but not abrasive; professional demeanor.
  • Persistent – able to accept rejection.
  • Energetic.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Pleasant, distinctive phone personality.
  • Adaptable – good learner, likes new challenges.
  • Problem solver.
  • Good keyboard and computer skills
