FULL-TIME ALMY EMPLOYEES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR DISABILITY INSURANCE, LIFE INSURANCE, AND SUPPLEMENTAL LIFE AND DISABILITY AFTER 90 DAYS OF SERVICE.
ALMY'S RETIREMENT SAVINGS PLAN
After one year of service, on specific plan entry dates, Almy employees are eligible for our 401(k) plan. This plan allows employees to defer part of their pre-tax salary for retirement. In addition, C.M. Almy will contribute 100% matching funds up to 2% of salary. Almy also makes a 5% of salary profit sharing contribution for all eligible employees.
TRAVEL ACCIDENT INSURANCE
Almy employees are covered by accidental death and dismemberment insurance for all traveling they do on company business. The benefit amount is based on salary level and the specific injury. Almy pays for 100% of this benefit. Almy employees are eligible for travel accident insurance as of the first day of employment.
EMPLOYEE FITNESS BENEFIT
After three months of employment, Almy employees are eligible for a reimbursement of approved fitness expenses. Reimbursement amounts vary.
EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM
Almy employees are eligible for $500.00 if they refer a new employee who completes the 60 day introductory period.
EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
All Almy employees and their immediate families are eligible for counseling and referral services through our Employee Assistance Program. This benefit is paid 100% by C.M. Almy.
